I am finally sitting down to update my blog. I don't really know what has kept me so busy. I got a little break from canning but now the watermelons are ripe and so are the squash. Kelly picked a wheelbarrow full of buttercup squash yesterday. I guess I'll be busy freezing it! I cooked one up the other night and it was awesome!
Yes, the watermelon was delicious! There are stillabout six more out on the vine.

I found this treasure at the Goodwill today. I don'tknow if it's an antique or not...but I liked it.

Sheilda, Love the graniteware bucket and all your finished prims, they are awesome!!!!! I guess Mom was onto something years ago when she used to drag us to thrift store....darn, I hate when she's right!!!!! Your watermelon and squash looks delicious, what a wonderful garden you guys grew!!!!!
